A picture says a thousand words - not everyone will understand the meaning of this simple photograph of my father, but to me, this represents exactly how much of a joker he was, his love for food and cooking, his 'I'll do it myself!' attitude and how even though most of the time his food tasted terrible, we'd swallow it and smile and tell him it was absolutely delicious.
Oh, and he knew we were lying.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you are posting pictures of your dad and your feelings and memories of your dad. It is a good way to honor him, remember him and the best way to deal with your bereavement and grief. I encourage you to post whenever you are free or find or scan any old pictures of him, even those taken during his youth. Your cousins in Malaysia may have his childhood pics from your uncles. As long as Google don't go down the tubes, Blogger will store your memories for posterity. Luv, Man-Q
